Allison Gaul, MWZB Of Counsel, recently moderated a panel discussion on “Hot IP Topics in Blockchain” at the American IP Law virtual Annual Meeting. Members of the panel included IBM Corporation and Koch Industries representatives. Topics included current innovation drivers for blockchain technology, areas of implementation and use cases of blockchain within the IP environment, and due diligence issues in blockchain patent portfolios. The session was very well attended by a global audience of participants.
