Raymond J. Ho brings over twenty-five (25) years of experience in a broad range of intellectual property matters, including litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, and technology licensing. His work spans patentability, validity, and infringement analyses, particularly for clients in the technology sector. Mr. Ho has extensive technical knowledge in areas such as computer hardware and software, data processing, electronic circuits and displays, image processing, integrated circuits, internet-related applications, medical devices, semiconductor and laser fabrication, and telecommunications.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ho has served as a partner and of counsel at several major law firms based in Washington, D.C., advising clients on complex licensing issues, litigation, patent procurement (both domestic and international), and transactional IP matters. He has successfully assisted major Taiwanese companies in multi-patent disputes before the International Trade Commission (ITC) and in federal district courts across the United States. Additionally, he has acted as second-opinion counsel and has favorably negotiated and settled high-stakes matters for his clients.

A skilled bilingual speaker, Mr. Ho is a frequent lecturer on a variety of intellectual property topics, including the Economic Espionage Act, disclosure obligations before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, copyrights, trademarks, and domain name registrations. He has conducted numerous seminars in both English and Mandarin Chinese for intellectual property professionals in Taiwan and China. His lecture series have received praise from respected figures in the IP field, including the retired Honorable Chief Judge Randall R. Rader of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Ho’s written work has been published in legal journals such as The International Legal Society and Intellectual Property Management. As a guest speaker for a radio show in the United States, he has addressed global audiences on topics such as copyright and publicity rights. He has also been featured in interviews on overseas television networks.
